Sunday in the Park

The article "Sunday in the Park" by Bel Kaufman tells us a story about children play in the park and two families have a problem between them. Larry’s parents sit on the bench, and Larry plays in the sandbox. Joe is another boy who throws the sands at Larry.  Larry’s mom tells his don’t do that again, but Joe's father don’t agree Larry’s mom. Although Morton wants to with Joe's father, he does not want. They stand up and argue at each other. Then, Morton’s family leave park. Larry began crying. Morton and his wife think it is better to leave park and not to fight with them.

opinion and interpretation

after reading this story, i felt that kind of problem are very normal.  i think Larry's father was doing right. fighting couldn't solve the problem.  but another kid 's father shouldn't had that kind reaction to Larry's father.  and he should teach his child not to do this.

opinion and interpretation for reading assigment 10/26

I like it, because it is writing by aking questions to the author and she answer those questions clearly by using the research which is discovered by herself from Lacks farmily and history. that makes me easier to understand what the story about by using this way.  also, this article has the definitions for the vocabularies which is hard to readers. it is good to finish an article.  and i hope that all the english story for the people whos like me not speak and write english well have the words definitions in the stories. it helps alot and save the time for more reading.
